The Technical Advisory Services department of Keewatin Tribal Council (KTC) is funded through Indian and Northern Affairs of Canada (INAC) and consists of the following services to its eleven (11) First Nation members: 

• Engineering services
• Housing and Building inspection services – Capital and CMHC projects
• Fire safety and emergency services
• Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services
• Provide assistance in Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) housing developments
• Provide assistance and direction in Comprehensive Community Planning (CPP)

Advisory capacity can include assisting, training, workshops and Emergency Services for specific areas within the KTC technical department.
